The First World War
The First World War was a real-world conflict taking place between 1914 and 1918. The only Battlefield game to feature this war is the the title Battlefield 1. Many causes led up to the war, but the most direct cause of the war was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand by Gavrilo Princip in 1914. The war was the fist in the era of modern warfare, and because of this was a very deadly with 8.5 million deaths and and over 20 million wounded.
